Hello and welcome, I'm Kirsty

Accredited Psychotherapist offering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and EMDR

As the founder and director of Feel Good CBT I run a service that aligns with my values and enriches the lives of my clientsI am passionate about helping people move toward healing, growth, and their fullest potential in a way that suits them.  My style of therapy is laid back warm, friendly and relatable (with some humour thrown in) rather than overly clinical.

We often just find ourselves here, in the flow of life.  We don't choose the things that life throw our way or how things turn out.

Together you will discover how your nervous system and emotions work and ways that your 'brain states' organise your mind, body thoughts and actions.

You will uncover how your difficulties make sense for your individual life experiences and life context.

Through therapy, you will gain the knowledge, tools and skills to understand yourself and feel able to take helpful supportive steps  towards the things you value

I came for sessions when I started having low moods.  It was the first time it had ever happened to me and it was really stopping me going to Uni and seeing my friends.  We met every other week, had 6 appointments and did tasks in between.  The things we did together helped me to get a better routine and it lifted my mood.  I would definitely go back for more sessions in the future.
